Western Canada Projects is an independent publisher based in Edmonton, Alberta. Every month we publish two briefings: Industrial Project Pipeline and Data Centre & Energy Watch.
Our readers run business development, estimating and operations at contractors, suppliers, engineering firms and service companies. They need to know which owner is buying, what packages are coming and when, without reading a hundred press releases.
What we publish
- Monthly reports. 27 project briefs over 21 pages in October 2026, with maps, schedules, workforce and capital-cost charts.
- A mid-month update. Every tracked project with new public reporting since the issue closed.

How we work
Every fact links to its source: owner releases, regulator filings, government notices and trade press. In October 2026 that was 59 sources across 48 publishers and agencies. Read our editorial standards.
Independence
Readers pay for the reports. Owners and contractors do not pay to be covered, and coverage cannot be bought. Sponsorships, when we take them, are labelled and kept apart from the briefings.
