Ksi Lisims LNG: status, offtake, contractors and FID timing (2026)
The Nisga’a Nation-led Ksi Lisims LNG project and its Prince Rupert Gas Transmission line: how much of the 12 Mtpa is sold, who has the pipeline contracts, cost and the final investment decision timeline.
Ksi Lisims LNG is a floating 12 Mtpa export project on Nisga’a lands near the Alaska border. It is owned by the Nisga’a Nation, Rockies LNG and Western LNG. On September 30, 2026, Centrica signed a heads of agreement for 1 Mtpa over 20 years, bringing announced offtake to about 9 of 12 Mtpa. A final investment decision is targeted by the end of 2026, with construction as early as 2027 if approved. Gas would come through the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) line. Surerus Murphy JV holds the onshore work and Allseas the subsea section.
For suppliers, the PRGT spreads and the shore-side works are where Canadian contractors will find most of the early work.
